As a Correspondent, you'll be Pomelo's voice on the ground. You’ll turn conversations, observations, and everyday moments at the Outpost into stories that bring the trip to life for future travelers. Your words help others understand not just what a Pomelo trip looks like, but what it feels like.

Your Responsibilities

While on your Travel Grant Trip, you’ll fulfill several vital responsibilities that will directly impact Pomelo’s mission to invite change and support rural communities.

Over the course of your trip, you'll produce a mix of short- and long-form blog content, complete detailed feedback on the homestay and Outpost experience, and contribute a set of post-ready photos — all aimed at giving future travelers and the Impact Team an honest, detailed picture of the trip.

    • 8 total blogs/stories ℹ︎

      • 4 short-form (250–500 words)

      • 4 long-form (1,000+ words)

    • At least 4 blogs submitted before the trip ends ❋

    • 2 detailed homestay feedback surveys ℹ︎

    • 1 detailed Outpost customer experience survey ℹ︎

    • Cultural activity and restaurant feedback ℹ︎

    • Review process feedback ℹ︎

    • 20 post-ready images

    • Contribution to the trip's Google Photos album ❋ ℹ︎
