Covid Testing Locations
Free tests are available to Luxembourg citizens and to individuals who are legally resident in Luxembourg and have been assigned a 13-digit Luxembourg identification number. Tests are organized by Luxembourg authorities – to schedule an appointment please click here.
If a U.S. citizen is not eligible to a free test, or if no appointments are available within the desired time frame, a test may be administered at a private laboratory. Normally, the request can be made without going to the doctor’s office in person, and the prescription would be sent via email to the person making the request. After a test has been prescribed, the traveler should contact one of the labs listed below for an appointment.

Covid Testing Locations
Government run hospitals offer tests for $150 AED or $40 USD. The 4 main hospitals are Dubai Hospital, Rashid Hospital, Latifa Women and Children Hospital, and Hatta Hospital. Al Shabab Al Ahli and Al Nasr football clubs, Al Rashidiya Majlis, Al Hamriya Port Majlis and Jumeirah 1 Port Majlis are other testing sites. A test can be booked by calling 04 800 342.
Private Options are capped at Dh250 or $68 USD and include:
Emirates Specialty Hospital, Dubai Healthcare City, offers the PCR test for Dh200 ($54 USD) – between 11pm and 6am – and for Dh220 ($59 USD) from 6am until 11pm. The results are available in 12 hours. No prior appointment is required. More information is available by calling 058 1047 987.
NMC Royal Hospital, Dubai Investment Park, provides the test for Dh250 ($68 USD) with results returned in 48 hours. Appointments are necessary and can be booked by calling 04 810 8800 or by visiting the hospital’s website.
Zulekha Hospital Dubai, Al Nahda, offers Covid-19 tests for Dh250 ($68 USD) from 9am until 11pm, without an appointment. An additional Dh60 registration fee will be charged.
King’s College Hospital Dubai, Alkhail Road, has a walk-in testing service 24 hours a day and is priced at Dh250 ($68 USD).
There are drive through National Screenings all over the UAE. Tests are free to anyone with Covid symptoms, suspects they were exposed, or is vulnerable (high risk). The cost is Dh370 or $100 USD for all others. See the following link for locations.
